After yesterday’s Storm Doris, a fallen tree and broken window, you would never have expected to see the sun shining so gloriously as it is today.
We are hosting Arne and Valerie’s special day. Norwegian routes take centre stage with some of the decor today. Beautiful deer antlers sitting pride of place on the top table as well as a traditional Norwegian wedding cake called Kransekake, made with rings of marzipan and almonds, ready for the ceremonial cut later this evening.
We love seeing DIY ideas and today is no exception, with a table plan made of corks, tables named after herbs which lends itself beautifully to the guests name tags and centre pieces, plus who needs an excuse to drink Champagne?
